I get the feeling there going to setup under a new name and like I said im unsure where they are moving to. Everytime I ask they fob me off.
- UndoUndo0
do you think they would move without telling you??
- blaw0
you are either remarkably paranoid or about to have a lot of time on your hands.
but you already know that, 'eh?
i'm hoping it's the former and that it can be treated pharmacutically.

Yeah think the boss would I just completed my 3month trail n was ment to sit down to talk about my job samething I keep getting fobd off what should I do I really do get the feeling Im about to get shitted on from a great hight

it sounds like either your boss is a real lamer and is scared to tell you you won't be moving with them...or he is just too busy with the move to sit down and tell you what your role will be at the new space.
hopefully it's the second one. good luck and don't stress too hard.

I dont think its the second one im the only one out of the office that hasn't been and the boss has been known to hide from this type of thing.
He go rid of one of the admin staff a couple of week ago he just told her to say at home and he would have a meting with her the next day but the next day never came and finally she stormed in to the office kicking off.

what rights do I have if any? what if they change the company name n i have a contract with the orginial company

not alot in the first 3 months Moo, yr boss sounds shabby to me if he did that to one of his staff

in similar situations I always tell myself that speculations will have no impact on the final outcome, therefore why waste the energy

it's definitely not looking good..
dont' you have any buddies in this office?...isn't there anyone you can step to for the truth of the matter?
if not, then start looking for a new gig NOW
when is the move?

*flex your muscles and make them know you mean something

just double my efforts but I dont think its going to make a difference and as for mate in the office there are only two other designers and he has just made them business partners. I keep telling myself not to worry but I know he has a history in this sort of thing. Is there anything I can do if they do get rid of me?

it'd be really funny if you show up one day and your office is completely empty. that'd be a great story to tell.
don't worry, there are always other jobs out there. screw your boss. sounds like he's a dickhead.
- Moo0
very true but I intend to find out where they are going just incase the worst happens. I've just been informed that we might have to work from home for a week or two due to delay on the new offices. Its getting fishier whilst im working at home they will be moving the stuff

I would ask your boss to show you the new place. Show how keen you are in the company then see what happens.

NOT SURE if this has been mentioned, but why not just ask him? If they are moving, then when? If your boss doesn't seem the talking type, then become what he's not. It will seem more likely that he will see you as a person that wants to keep their position, rather than stay in the background. PLus if you are getting canned I think there are probably severence pays or something no?

hard to say, hard to say...
all i can think is that if i was in your position, i'd be definitely seeking out a new job, NOW...
i've seen 'midnight moves' like this before, and what you're describing definitely sounds fishy..
make sure you get your paycheck...situations like this are perfect for management to suddently not remember whether they 'owe' you any money...
so be sure you've got your cash locked down tight...other than that, see if one of these new partners will talk....
but if what you're saying is true, dude....you're on borrowed time...
how long till the move?
