Thoughts:
1. The grid concept is cool. Says something about you as a designer.
2. Not crazy about the color.
3. How small is the text at the bottom? Looks like it's just a bit too tiny. And "Freelance Designer" needs some space (kerning).
4. "Turn over for a list of services that I offer" is kind of useless. Everyone always automatically turns the card over. (Perhaps you can put your location there?)
5. The typeface you chose is really pretty.

...Or instead of adding kerning to your title, use a lighter form of the font. From here, it looks as if it will print muddy.

Thanks for your comments, the text at the bottom is Regular Helvetica 6pt. I have uploaded a version using 7pt (see below). I think that the size of the other text i.e. name will need to be increased to fit in with the change in size.
The colour on the Pantone Swatch I quite like 448u, although it looks different on screen, I'm may try some variations on the colour.
Anyway, here is a version with 7pt type for the contact details.

i like it.

I would like to see something more like Pantone 289, a dark blue, instead of a raw green, on a business card... but color is always just a matter of personal preference.
Do what you want, of course. :)
Also, I like the typeface smaller now that I see it larger. Thanks for keeping an open mind.

i don't know if i like "freelance designer" going past that box of the grid.
dunno about the color either.
nice typetheough.

I'll try some variations on the colour, I'm not sure about the type size at the bottom, I'm thinking that 6pt Helvetica might be a little to small, its always hard to tell how a the type will look once printed. The problem is that the balance is messed up if you go bigger.
Thanks for all your comments, I'll keep tweaking :)

I'd lose the "turn over" as well.
use the right most two column elements for the white info
i'd turn "freelance design"
with the "er" turned clockwise 90 degrees just for kicks.but I suck at design. so take it with a bucket of salt.

by the way, there's a break in the grid just above your name.

shorten tel and mob to t and m, no colon and single space and there may be room for slightly larger type
if you force them to turn over the card by leaving critical information off the front, then you won't need to write "turn over card". What if you put your name and services on the front and the rest on the back?
- brooke0
I like that, Spongebob. But you should probably leave the designing to him. :)

I'm not sure, I think it sets it up for more vertical text, what does everyone else think, do you like it or not?
I have tried a couple of variations, which I will upload shortly.
Appreciate all the help :)

6 pt text may not work well knocked out of a dark bg. plus think about the peeps w/o 20/15 eye sight. 7 pt is better
- lw-d0
Yeah, think you might be right, design looks better at 6 but there is no point (no pun intended) if some people can't read it.
I may need to rethink about the grid a litle more to accomadate the change in size.
Hey sponge, where is the gap, I took a look and couldn't find it.

LOOK AT THAT GRID!
+1
lose the 'turn over' text - it's not needed and mucks up the card
- eficks0
yeah i agree, lose the turn over part.
part from that, nice!
i like how 'freelance designer' overlaps the grid btw.
