mg33 has a point about making a choice to go to war. Some go to war because they feel they can't do anything else with their lives. Others go because it's a family tradition or they've always wanted to join one army or the other and serve their country.
At the same time, I'm glad this woman is actually doing something about standing against Bush instead of just saying it. At least she has a lot of followers.
I also understand her talking about why Bush's daughters aren't a part of the war if it's so noble and such a great thing to do...but it's the CHOICE of that person to enter the war. They should know what they're getting themselves into. Plus, his daughters have other ambitions.
- Goozebump0
yah and those ambitions include wild parties with the hiltons and snorting crap load of coke.
- mrdobolina0
but the reasons for war have all been proven wrong. everyone thought that saddam had nukes and chem weapons because that was the info the country was given. recent developments we have seen that this current admin lied about it all. not that they were fed bad info, but that they lied about it.
downing street minutes, joe wilson, etc etc etc.
- Jaline0
yeah, I was going to say that. I know why someone would start something on behalf of their dead son, but I'm sure those soldiers know what they're getting themselves into. Maybe a compromise between Bush and Sheehan/other families having to do with the war would be best, but that's unlikely.
- Jaline0
I'm not agreeing with the war...I'm just trying to look at both sides.
- mrdobolina0
wtf possible "compromise" could they come to?
- mrdobolina0
both sides? the fucker lied to the american people and the whole world and not about getting head from a fat girl.
- Jaline0
I'm against the war...I'm trying to say that when someone goes into war it's their own choice.
- mrdobolina0
tell that to the national guard or the soldiers who have gotten their terms involuntary extended indefinitely.
they signed up to defend our country, not to fight economic wars at the whim of a few crackpots.
- Jaline0
agreed on that part
- mrdobolina0
the national guard is supposed to defend our borders against invasion. not be deployed to countries on the other side of the world.
