sometimes i think that nostalgia can be super dangerous. if people rely on it too much, it can stymie innovation.
so, i reckon devo will always have a place in my heart, while franz ferdinand will probably not. i guess i wouldn't care who was more original, but i do care what's good.

I saw an episode of the original dukes of hazard show the other night and it was totally SHIT, the only reason anyone feels nostalgic about crap tv shows / music whatever is because of the childhood memories they awake.
So unfortunately yes there will be nostalgia about the 00 years in 20 years time, only those that will be nostalgic about it are 20 years yournger than me.
