Unintelligent Design:
- opiate0
God dammit and jesus fucking christ!!
Just live your lives and shut the fuck up, these threads are ridiculous...
- uberdesigner0
this thread reminds me of the movie "Groundhog Day". Where Bill Murray has the same day happen to him over and over again.

(Aug 11 05, 06:50)If every day feels the same, set a goal and you will eventually reach it. It helps if you're a type 'A' personality.

Yars man... Just because there is a majority opinion doesnt prove something to be true. Using this argument to try and prove intelligent design seems unwise when the majority of lay people believe that we morphed from amoebas over billions of years.
All the science aside. Surely its quite nihilistic to believe that God doesnt exist and we are all the result of randomness.
Well I've got some good news. Jesus is alive. He sees you, knows you and loves you. He invites you to trust him.
From personal experience I can say that this knowledge changes my life. I wouldn't say that my faith makes me "feel better" per se.
Living for the Lord makes life infinitely more difficult in many ways. Doing whatever you want is what's easy.

So your saying its not good to have an opinion and talk about it?
Your saying it's "ridiculous" to talk about what you believe in?
Your language sure shows your level of respect for your fellow man's beliefs.
I'm just pointing out the obvious.

this will be the last time I post in this thread and I am going to sum it up with three words.
religion isn't science.
- discipler0
religion isn't science.

---------------------------Agreed. Let the science speak for itself.
People who think that Intelligent Design is the injection of religion into science, have not done their homework. (see the link in my first post in this thread). People need to get educated about the science in this issue rather than trying to twist it into a religion vs. science thing.

(Aug 11 05, 07:48)no buddy, it was a outburst to the number of of these type of threads. Stop starting new ones and use the search function folks.
And I'll start respecting my "fellow" mans beleifs when they start respecting mine.
- discipler0
another article demonstrating the overwhelming ignorance most people have of this issue.
- Warland0
That's an excellent dismissal discipler.
You're as open minded as your opponents I see.
- discipler0
"Isn't assuming intelligent design is wrong, because it differs
from one's own philosophy similar to assuming evolution is wrong because it differs from one's religion on the same level?"Intelligent and objective people actually look at what the proponents of an issue claim before launching their emotional attacks and making rediculous assumptions in the name of their comfy philosophical bias.
- discipler0
here's a novel idea! actually discuss the science rather than trying to polarize people by making false assumptions like:
"anyone familiar with modern biology knows that ID is nothing more than a program of political and religious advocacy masquerading as science..."
false.
- opiate0
why do you care if we believe or not? Seriously, shut your hole.
I don't care what your beliefs are, don't push, judge or force feed.
Get off your cross, I need the wood.
- Warland0
If we're actually discussing science here - What's the test then?
- discipler0
warland, search any of the previous threads on this issue to read about some of the specific issues. Or better yet, go to the source:
- mrdobolina0
discipler, what exactly are you trying to accomplish on newstoday?
- discipler0
mrdobs, can you not see that this thread was not started by me??? Just like all the others???
I have every right to join a discussion as you do. Again, you just disagree with my position, that's the issue.
- TheTick0
You know, if there is some sort of intelligent designer behind the whole of everything, I want to know - is it standard compliant? Does it validate? Is it built on a grid system? And will I have trouble loading the universe into IE?
- mrdobolina0
discipler, contribute to threads that dont pertain to god and I will stop being the thorn in your side.
