not quiote sure the point of all this

I was under the impression that all good design was supposed to be 'intelligent'?

It means that most Americans will be taught lies from now on because of their bible-waving leader buys into this shit.

To be a proper encyclopedia shouldn't that page have some reference to intelligent design done by humans? (product design, architecture, graphic design...)
- stewart0
it's a new religion
- kelpie0
not if it uses capital letters...
remember though, Wicki is horribly biased (apparently) and cannot be trusted even when stating pure bloody obvious fact and common sense.
- ribit0
they aren't consistent in the name anyway...

SSSHHHHHH!!!!
Jesus, do you want Discipler to turn up? Keep it quiet...
- uberdesigner0
it's mass hallucination.

Kelpie - i'm new to Wiki really, - can you tell why its biased? is it towards a particular politcal or philosphical flavour? i'm interested to know more...

Intelligent Design: 2advanced for me.
but seriously, isn't ID just another example of the church' inability to adapt to this time and age. Not only on evolution theory (which btw for a lot of evolution-scientists does not confilict with religion), but also on birth prevention, womens rights, etc.

This dead horse has been beaten. Here's the thread:
http://www.newstoday.com/pv-an/v…
and why not go to the source for information about it:
http://www.ideacenter.org/resour…...whether you like it or not, it's science. Current science.
As opposed to that steamboat era stuff.
- E__________0
Steamboat era, better yet, the middle ages: a time when you could have a crusade truely based on religion instead of oil.
But if there was really something like id, why do we have so many dumb people(!) walking around. Or are some (insert your culture /religion here) just born more intelligent than others.

discipler, why not give up on the how this earth was started trend, no one is ever going to get to the end of it. And instead leave it at whatever you believe, because the real difference is what happens when we die, you have a belief that you end up somewhere after you die(heaven, or earth, depending on your relegion) , and it gives you a sense of calm and thats a great thing, which i miss, and you can live on with your life without worrying...
while everyone else stops at that, they have no conceivable idea of what follows, it could be nothing as far as they're concerned. that is the horror of not having anything to hold on to.
- uberdesigner0
discipler is the worst troll I've seen on this board. totally ineffective.
- yarsrevenge0
I'm actually with discipler on this one guys... you should come out of that tree hole you live in and know that a pretty big ass portion of this world doesn't believe in what you do. All the Bush, neo con, stupid redneck insults aside which is the only thing I read from the most of you here, just because discipler is the only one combating you baby-killing, gay loving, we were there when the big bang started so we know how the universe and earth was created because we believe carbon dating is 100% accurate people... doesnt mean he's a minority. (dang that was really offensive of me wasn't it?)... *insert time of introspection here*
- arinya0
I did not know that so many designers were also scientist! You guys are karazzy!
- E__________0
let's put it this way. You really think that when all humans are dead this world does not excist anymore. That somehow when the last human dies an event is triggered that will destoy the entire universe including every living creature.

this thread reminds me of the movie "Groundhog Day". Where Bill Murray has the same day happen to him over and over again.
