Expected Hourly Rate

Hmm. So a local design studio contacted me to let me know that, if they need any outsource done, they will use me. Good stuff. But, they want to know my expected hourly rate. I don't know. I don't want to go too high and scare them away.. What do y'all think ?
And in the same thread.. How's your monday ?

it really depends entirely on what you're going to be doing for them, and which city you're in...
i'd ask some local designers for a better idea...
$40/hr is kinda standard though

definately $40 maybe $45 and talk them into a redesign.

If your a professional and your offering a top notch product them that seems totally fair.
My work charges us out at $90

i start with basic 50ph if they need rush work it can be up to 100ph

totally depends on several variable, starting with, but not limited to: type of work, skill level, timeframe, amount of overall work and size of company work is being done for.
if you have a few years of exp. behind you, i would say no less than $50/hour if the amount of work is substantial.
