"forgive and forget"
"turn the other cheek"
"do unto others as you have done unto yourself"
"love thy neighbour as ye love yourself"
Now, if you can explain to me, without breaking any of the above basic principles, why some people are inferior I'd be prepared to listen. Until then I am unsure I can truly believe you follow the teachings of Christ.

I think these sorts of discussions are quite interesting. It was a nice way to end off my 'work' day.

amen, jevad.
I try to love people no matter what they do or where they are coming from. And I would hope that my friends would love me in spite of my shortcomings and frequent stupidity spells.
...and my lazy eye.

i love you all.

While watching 'National Treasure', all I could focus on was how chapped Nicholas Cage's lips were. I almost couldn't watch the entire film because of all the close-ups to his face and lips.

nick cage was also good in 'bringing out the dead'. then again, it was a scorsese movie so their wasnt a lot of room for looking bad.

people are born gay everyday.
do you disagree with the hispanic lifestyle, discipler?
what is the difference?
you are a fucking bigot and I dont give a shit what anyone says.

MX, we can love and forgive and at the same time not condone a lifestyle or behavior. Jesus was the perfect example of this. When he approached the Samaritan woman at the well, he showed her kindness and selfless love, but without comprimising... without condoning her unhealthy relationships. And she went away knowing she was loved and forgiven.
And she changed.

do you, like Dobson belive that gay people can be "cured", discipler?

cheers, dude!

dobs, are you really saying that there is a hispanic lifestyle? How is this the same as homosexuality? I'm confused. I think you are getting at the "nature vs. nurture" issue. A long-standing debate. Bottom line: we all have genetic predispositions towards certain things. But this doesn't equate to being "born gay" or "born" whatever. We have the ability to choose our behaviors/lifestyle.
whatever floats your pickle, mrdobs. I'm a bigot in your eyes, ah well.

I don't need to know about it. Just don't force it onto my kids and don't squelch my freedom to disagree with it.

(Aug 8 05, 12:33)--
Don't squelch their freedom to disagree with you. Force it on to your kids? Who is forcing anything onto you or your kids? By existing? By gays wanting to be able to be recongized as such and repected as people not sexual preference? No sir, most Chirstians are the ones doing to forcing. Surely not all Christians are the bible pushers in the face of all, but realize (and I still find it hard to fanthom that in 2005 people still can not) that not all gays are out their "forcing" themselves on the innocent minds of little possibly wanna be gay youngsters.
Your pananoid and yes you are homophobic. Personally I am more worried about little girls dressing like Britney Spears at age ten and young boys shooting each other becuase 50 cent can survive gun shots than I am of a gay person coaxing them into being a homo.
The world is a big place, filled with many things and many more people and love is love- let people fucking love- and while your at it let them fuck to if that is what they want to do. Who the hell are you to tell anyone who to love...
your God is great- you know it- so go on happy into that light.
