Im dont like the super exhagerated M and W, hte y is about as far as it shoud go personally.
Seems like a neo-serif font

i really like it. the only two things i'm not into are the lowercase "m" and the ampersand.
i like the lowercase "y" a lot!
- ********0
that's funky! it swings a lot.
btw. wait for Typographica.

Interesting, I'm not a fan of the lowercase 'r' or the 'a' and you know me, I'd never use it, but I'm sure other people would.
Overall it seems a bit awkward, but I'm guessing you want it to have that feeling...
Can't wait to see what the typophile peeps have to say..

I've been back and forth on the m and w as well. Might leave it for the italic only or as an alt character. (?)
- t_rock0
yeah, if anyone's gonna rip you a new counter, it's typographica. I'm not too keen on some of the super exagerated lc letters, but toned down a tad it will look pretty sharp.

It looks a little odd overall to me. for example the "e" is very normal, but some of the other letters are really wacked out. I'd go for a little more consistency so it reads better.
Overall it has an OK tone, but the details and consistency need to be worked out.

t-rock I think you and I share a passed client in pound recordings. You did there logo didn't you?

i like the M and W i think it's what makes it stand out.
- mg330
I think the middle of the w's and m's needs to be perfectly straight.
Otherwise, I really like it. It's rare that you see a new font that combines a few styles but still looks really new.
I would def. use it. :)

aye... good ol' Sean and Mike at Pound and I go way back. We went to UBC together.

Disclaim: I'm not a type designer. You'll get much better feedback from Typophile. But here's what I see.
I think you need to first decide what you want this font to be. Is it text or display? Tough to do both.
Some of your forms are headed in a nice direction (a,y,p,Q). I don't think the M and W are going to cut it with a wide audience. Just seems far too gimmick. Itals are tough. I'd spend a lot more time with the Roman first.
What fonts are you looking at for inspiration? Open em and FontLab and examine those curves.

Typographica,
In response to:"I don't think the M and W are going to cut it with a wide audience."
Believe me I know where your coming from, I remember the flack Tarzana got for it's similar E. The thing is that I thinks part of the personality of the face. I called it a modern serif mainly because it's too far from a true text font to every set long copy unless with malicious intent toward the reader. Do you think supplying a alt character for both that is more standard would solve the problem, or do I need to make these the alt. ones?
- Typographica0
Always make the crazy stuff the alt unless you're really in love with them.
Tarzana - I once got a customization request to fix that E and Q and I know I'm not the first.

Typographica
Thanks for the advice. I'll make sure the next revision gets infront of your eyes again.
Cheers.

the caps seem too heavy. the apex of a few letters also seem heavy. those are the only things that are really throwing me off. i would spend a few more hours refining the forms before taking it to typophile. those peeps are ruthless. other than that, i like it a lot. and i'm not much for display fonts. good work.
