Disclaim: I'm not a type designer. You'll get much better feedback from Typophile. But here's what I see.
I think you need to first decide what you want this font to be. Is it text or display? Tough to do both.
Some of your forms are headed in a nice direction (a,y,p,Q). I don't think the M and W are going to cut it with a wide audience. Just seems far too gimmick. Itals are tough. I'd spend a lot more time with the Roman first.
What fonts are you looking at for inspiration? Open em and FontLab and examine those curves.
