nice idea...
IMHO....
the shape doesn't look like a mask. Can you draw it with more depth?
- DavidFelt0
how do you mean? like more of a perspective?
- who0
yes, so that everybody can "see" the mask
Generally a human eye can "read" first the light and then the dark parts of a shape, that's why most of the people here can't see the mask.

mmm yeah, i get what your saying now, dont know how to fix that problem tho, maybe its cause its black on white?
im gonng be using it as white on the various colours of the printed matter i think so it might look better like that also?
thanks again for all feedback, greatly appreciated

Have you tried the mask facing right and a bit upwards? There's something negative about it looking down and left like that.

If you make the line in the h, that goes from eye to the nose, more vertical it will be better i think...

with the dark background is perfect
I like very much the logo with the green background

is there any reason you are avoiding the most obvious theater mask reference: http://images.google.com/images?…
?
your mask doesn't read well (should a mask have ears?)...i know the brief called for a mask but i think you might be better going the puppet route so you can incorporate maybe a horse puppet or something, which could be sweet...everything feels kind of arbitrary and that typeface is nasty...i really don't like the weird scripty parts...seems to be approaching the right vibe as far as playfullness but i would pick a typeface that doesn't look so confused about itself...

It took me quite some time to gather that it was a mask.
I like #1 after I realized what it was.

the mask is based on one of their masks, they are quite dark and quicrky and nothing like traditional theatre masks, this is why the mask is how it is, I personlly, and most peoples whove seen it love the typeface and its playfull vibe, the marketing guy likes it, he just has to aprove it with the art director.
thanks again peeps
