My friend is finally getting cable internet. But he has three kids and asked me if there are any good programs that help block unwanted content. I've heard that AOL does something like that but I don't know about comcast but either way is there any good programs that you guys know of that I couild recommend to him?

Just look at the browser history and smack em with a flyswatter on the butt if you find they were looking at porn, anime, or anything to do with Republicans.
That's what I got as a kid, without the Internet part.

Yeah that's what I told them but I guess they are pretty paranoid about stuff like that and I don't really blame them. But I told them I don't really know of anything program you can buy that does that and I've never messed with the setting on browser. Which I also suggested.

Hopefully they don't know how to delete the history files. That way you can see everything. Otherwise, put a password on it (the one that comes up as soon as you turn the computer on) so that they have to ask you permission before they can use the computer. It's almost impossible to use the computer without knowing that password, and that way they won't be on too much when you're not around.
