Probably would be pretty hard for them if everyone used their bandwidth I bet but everything seems to be working for a while.
I am really happy so far w/ dreamhost, for the features I have used, mysql db, emails, basic web host, subdomains etc it seems to work well, the control panel does take some getting used to though, I gotta admit some things confused me at first, but overall I have liked it better than my experience with MT and a few other hosting companies.

I signed up when they had that deal for 10 bucks for the year so I havent quite moved to normal monthly payments.
I am with their Level 1 package which has grown to 134 GB transfer a month, 5 gb of storage, w/ domains and subdomains.
Normally I think the last time i checked it would be about 8 usd a month.

let me give one example.
there is next to ZERO info on how to view your site BEFORE xferring DNS over....... we do not have a dedicated ip (another plus for MT) and all i can find are people bitching about the same thing..
NICE CONTROL PANEL.. did a bunch of bvran damaged monkeys design it?
i have no idea how they could run a business as confusingly as they do and be profitable. its insulting

oh i know, i have MT for 2 other things and i love it. guess i had gotten spoiled. i want to take a fat dump on dreamhosts doorstep.
but that would mean MT could smell it too so i will refrain
