i think the blinking "next" should only appear once on the first photo. whenver i'd move to an other picture and that arrow blinked i tried clinking it an nothing happened. i would normally find that furstrating because i have to wait for the button to load.

Hey version3, can I take a look at that file system. I'm doing a flash photo site for someone and I wanted to get an idea about file structure, etc.
thanks and if you'd rather not I understand.

looks nice.
seems a wee bit buggy though.. sometimes when i click it does not respond, and one time when i clicked next it even went back one pic?
- jevad0
yeah...it's very buggy at the moment apparently
Know how to fix that though
- kodap0
it loads slow (2Mb pipe) .. or maybie its the loading sequence that takes too much time?
a prev button would be wiser..
otherwise, cool
photos are top^notch ^^

Thanks everyone
I've added back buttons...a bg image on the preload......short photo descriptions and a photo count...and shrunk the file sizes down a bit.
Also got rid of the buttons bugs...I hope.
Lemme know what you think!

love it! great pics, clean presentation, smooth transitions.

good work...
just some littleness:
I'll keep the "nex" button active when the cursor is left on the right areaAnd the progress text renders not good.
but these are just littleness: two thumbs up.
- jevad0
" And the progress text renders not good."
how so?
- Nairn0
technically, very good..
..but (and you'll hate me [more] for this) - I've always liked your efficient CSS-driven outlook on web design..
..so I think the Flashness is overkill.
Still, the pictures are treh sweet.

jevad, the photos are great and I like the design, but i still have the same complaint.
I don't lik ethe white transition, I'd rather see tehg photo until teh next one's loaded. There's a few seconds there between shots where the box is all white.
Also, the loading #s are big and don't seem to match the aesthetic of the arrow or the text in the white box.
- jevad0
yeah....those loading numbers were bothering me too.....
i kinda like the transition though....from the b/w to color
I'll have a play...
cheers!
Oh and thanks nairn - i think...i wanted this to be differ'ed out - this is just the photo module
- spendogg0
the photos are taking a while to load - my connection seems a bit slow today though.
Those numbers are waaay to big. Like the transition though.
ace photos as always.

Not sure about the outlines on the numbers...their size too. I think I liked the loading numbers on the first round...
Also, I can still break it with the buttons. If you click twice on the buttons, it goes to "Star Ferry Sailor". Can you make the next button not enabled until the next photo is loaded completely? Just a thought...or a few.

(Jul 28 05, 09:24)"yeah shit you're right man...that's really weird though because the only time the button is active is at one point when the frame stops. All other times there is no button on the timeline..that's really weird....

It seems the project descriptions go with either the previous or the next images. Is this the case, and if so where can you get the current images desciption? If I'm wrong about this let me know.
Otherwise it's coming along nicely. I like how the the preview image is dirtied up as its loading the clean image
- jevad0
yoou can't I guess...you get to see whats forward or back - I didn't think you needed to know what you were currently on because you had just seen what it was called when you clicked next or back
descriptions really aren't important - what's important will be the text about the star ferry that is on the page....
