mr740 i like tht list, but i was disappointed in the wolverine origin.
both with the art and the read. if you have House Of M #3 there are to me probably the best wolverine panels ever, when he gets a flashback of reality while looking at his wife mystique aand not knowing whats going on, ill have to scan it in for everyone else wqho doesnt know but from top 2 pages 4 east west panels per page
1. the wolf from the orgin and his first claws.2. full rage all claws
3. weapon x and tubes and liquid and adamantium begins to enter his body
4. first appearence of wolverine as he fights the hulk.
awesome!!!
:)
house of m rocks!!!

sorry if i repeated anything anyone's already said, didn't have a chance to read the whole thread.

damn this thread was made for me, I wish I had the time to respond to it thuroughly.
right now:
DC has it's countdown to Infinate Crisis, which is going to "rock the DC universe" from what reviews say. I've been reading as many of the side stories as my bank account will allow, but there is a ton of shit going on there.Marvel's response to DC is The House of M. Quick summary, Scarlet Which has flown off her rocker and is completely out of her mind insane and actrually altering reality, as well as the Marvel Hero's past.
both a muct have for any comic book geek, like myself.
some good shit to pick up if you haven't read them yet:
Wolverine: Origin
Earth X, Universe X, Paradise X
Batman: Hush
Identity Chrisis
Daredevil: Decalogue
Batman/Superman
Inhumansalso, Frank Miller and Jim Lee have teamed up to start a new Batman and Robin series. Promising to be awesome. :)

In a couple of issues, Jae Lee describes how he gets some of those effects. I think i have one the issues with that.

I never read anything that had "hell" in the title cuz I thought it was so cliche. But checking out the illustation now and I wish I had picked them up back then.

check out the distortion of Captain America's chest by Rob Liefeld. I think he was known for drawing two left hands.

-----------I'd like to rest a martini on those

liefield has zero understand of any known anatomy or muscle structure, he would "invent" his own muslces and add muscles where they normally wouldnt be but he would copy the way clothing draps across a normal figure leaving you confused to what you were looking at as all his sketches all remained the same SHIT!!!
he was a total failure to the comics industry!!!
on a side note, during a very long trip in asia i had read this novel:

i extremely highly reconmend it!!! a must have for those who like to read, a must have for thoe that can respect the comics world as a whole and all of its ups and downs!!
:)
oh yeh again rob liefield sucks a$$!!!

Liefeld was the worst part of 90's comics. he was everywhere and awful at the same time.

I really love Mike Mignola, Frank Miller, and ashley wood. Jae Lee has a great style.
Jim lee is too ripped off during the whole Image era to be cool to me anymore.
I just finnished the graphic novels "kingdom Come" (DC) and Frank Miller's "RONIN". Both were great.
I will always be a dork.

I never liked Leifeld, now, I look at his work and think it's pretty disgusting.

Sacco is good and you can't forget about Daniel Clowes=
Ghost World and Eightball.Leifeld was the demise of hero comics

the issues where he's in the asylum are really fun to read with 3D glasses (the red and blue kinds, not the fancy clear ones).
