Anybody read non-superhero comics? The closest to "superhero" that I read is Kabuki by David Mack whose artwork never ceases to amaze me. The other things I read are The Nocturnals, Blue Monday, Nightmare & Fairytales, Courtny Crumrin, Gloomcookie, etc. Oh, and Lenore if it ever has an issue out. I try others but I'm not thrilled.
Whatever happened to Hellshock

worth reading:
Transmetropolitan, Fables, Y the Last Man, Sleeper, anything by Alan Moore (V for Vendetta, Watchmen, etc)

Savage Dragon! That was a hilarious comic. Didn't he have a story where he or the satan went toe to toe with god? And he said don't fukc with god!!! Jeebus that was insane.

see, i never got into Transmetropolitan really. Maybe it's because my ex was a total dorkfish about it. Although i do love the figurine of Spider Jerusalem reading on the toilet.

i reconmend all the Ultimate titles from Marvel, i especially love the main title itself, the writing is much more mature than costumes and villians running around, the heroes are real and have real issues like alcoholism and martial abuse, its great to see our regulaar lives blend into the fantastic lives of the books.
i reconmend the 2 collected graphic novels of Batman Hush, til today i almost feel as if i was there in the story, like i was the narrator telling the story from my point of view, very excellent writing and the art is fantastic!!! A+
HOUSE OF M which effects every major Marvel title this year is a very exciting change on the universe itself...
Superman/ Batman is also very good read and the art is good too.
thats where i am right now, a very heavy read of costumes!!!
wednesday is my day, my life revolves around wednesday's! as wednesday is comic book day!

The Walking Dead

SharknifeI gave up on mainline Marvel and DC a few years ago. I don't need to see Magneto rise from the dead every couple of months, sorry.

I loved Happy Noodle Boy from JTHM! I'm happy that Jhonen got a big break with Zim (though i don't care for it) but i think he needs to remember the fans that got him there...and stop taking Roman with him! I Feel Sick is great.
hahahaa, was it really close to 12 years, e-pill?

the issues where he's in the asylum are really fun to read with 3D glasses (the red and blue kinds, not the fancy clear ones).
