Currently checking your site and reading about the productions..
one thing i did not really understand:
"Shot and composed for full frame as I felt it's more challenging plus with full frame it's OK to stylize. You know with letterbox, the movies... you get a slice of life and life is kinda boring sometimes."
could you explain this to me?

he means full screen every bit of the screen is used for picture, if the picture is 'letterboxed' then it is reduced in size slightly giving you black bands on the top and bottom of your picture making it look like it is a letter box shape within the screen.

Since most of the projects i shoot start SD res then using 2.35:1 would be pushing it as just too much res is being thrown out (except the 2 newest one one being HD and other 35mm). Thus if we go letterbox usually it means 1.85:1. i think 1.85:1 is kinda boring format though (although it's closest to our vision) and doesn't lends itself to stylistic shots the way 2.35:1 or 4:3 is. I actually like full frame a lot and whevener i get a chance try to shoot in that format mainly because so few cool things are being done nowdays with it. I mean think of all those early movies where they had to shoot full frame some of that shit is stunning and while you get bored watching well composed but ultimately boring stuff shot 1.85:1 each time i watch a good old movie i'm constantly amazed.

Basically he is saying he likes a bigger canvas to work on, as not many projects get shot at full 2048 by 1152 innit.
