JazX, Im actually pretty conservative.
Im down with the death penalty, gun ownership, fiscal conservancy and being tough on crime. I might actually be down with the drug war if it was going after meth (the real problem) and not coca or the sweet leaf.

It is indeed tough to try out left handed instruments at Guitar Center, because they hardly ever have them.
That's not what keeps me out of there, though. The egomaniac hacks that work there, the people who think they are musical theory nuts that couldn't write a creative tune if their life depended on it, and the grimey, talentless kids that come in there looking at Line6 amps and Ibanez guitars - all of these things are why I avoid the place like the plague.

I have a lefty fender precision that I strung upside down. it works ok until I attempt rip through a jaco-like solo and then I'm restricted from the bottom of the fret board.
...I barely play bass, just imagining my keen ability.
But I think it does suck if you are looking at vintage instruments.
