i never got the whole 'thug from toronto' spiel. i think my high school had a higher murder rate than toronto does.
- mg330
I just never understood why someone wants to glamorize gunplay.

Guns for tots that's what I say

The low thuggin' rates in Toronto aren't low for Canada though. It is one of the most popular cities, and has one of the highest crime rates in Canada, which means that we don't have a lot of crime as a whole. I like it that way. And exactly! Why WOULD you want to glamorize gunplay?
- emokid0
sean makes guns look cool.
- emokid0
or guns make him look cool. something like that.

But those two live in the safe suburbs.
- emokid0

- Jaline0
I know what you mean. But I live in the suburbs and there are kids around here who thing they are 'thuggin' as well. Their hangout is McDonalds. No joke.
- emokid0

today was one of the most difficult in my 12-16year career as a designer. One of my clients',a Canadian urban tee shirt company, was rushed in for emergency surgery after a drive by shooting by an up an coming Canadian chav t shirt company. Drive by shootings, (and tee shirts) are more frequent in Canada than one would imagine in such a rural and cold country. I cried when I realized that our beloved black letter logo would fly no more. My mom says that when I'm a bit older, twenty-one or so, I will realize that such tragedies are part of every brand's life cycle.
