today was one of the most difficult in my 12-16year career as a designer. One of my clients',a Canadian urban tee shirt company, was rushed in for emergency surgery after a drive by shooting by an up an coming Canadian chav t shirt company. Drive by shootings, (and tee shirts) are more frequent in Canada than one would imagine in such a rural and cold country. I cried when I realized that our beloved black letter logo would fly no more. My mom says that when I'm a bit older, twenty-one or so, I will realize that such tragedies are part of every brand's life cycle.
