I appologize if this has been asked before, but I cnanot seem to find what I am looking for.
Trying to figure out the best settings to encode a quicktime file that will maintain decent quality and not too big file size.
The file is under 3 min, and is about 100 mb, I tried quicktime at 320 x 240, sorenson 3, progressive download compressed (I am using Compressor on my Powerbook), and IMA audio.
My file sizes are still like 50 mb after. Any idea or possible settings I should try?
I was hoping to get it to be around 15 mb or so.

get a copy of discreet media cleaner, the company may have been bought up since though.

thx, but id rather avoid having to buy a copy of cleaner for one 3 min video if there are some possible settings I could try to export with first.
Anyone?

Why ont use Flash. You'll have 90-something percent viewers instead of the 60-something you'd get with Quicktime.
It's easier to encode too.

Flash is really the simplest way to do it IMO. But if you want to do it in QuickTime then take quality down to 60 maybe? And lower bitrate also.
