Hey gang!
Have never used AE b4, but know other Adobe/Macromedia products well.
Could you reccomend any books/tutorials/sites that can get me from begginner to intermediate in a week?
Looking to do broadcast quality graphics, rather than animation or film compositing.
beers and cheers,
lucky

you can get up and runing in a day, even better if you have used Flash.
Just open the program and start pocking around, youll see how easy it is

There have been many topics on this subject you can look up in the Search, but I always recommend the Adobe Classroom in a Book. It's very well written and you learn fast. You'll also learn fast if you're comfortable with Photoshop layers, modes, masking, etc.

http://www.lynda.com has video's on all the basic how to use AE (as well as tons of other programs as well) for cheap!
Also learned a bit from going through the adobe studio site and digging for AE tutorials.
