    • dude, dont start. ok your synapses are firing in you primate brain. you are an accident. we dont want accidental primates who are delusional in this debate.yurimon
    • Well. Sure I believe paper money has value since we have a global system in place that it's a part of. We can't escape that reality by choice.monospaced
    • That's a bit different than claiming to know the truth about our creator and the afterlife don't you think?monospaced

    • the state is an organism made of thousands of individuals. it IS possible for you to shake hands with all of them, given enough time.scarabin

    • yuri, are you a primate?scarabin

    • yuri, you made it a "superiority thing" when you started calling us apes as though you were something besides an ape. at least have to balls to tell us why.scarabin
    • so much for deb8s. I think religious people n atheists still follow the same archetype system.yurimon
    • why did you do that, yuri?scarabin

    • am i talking to a wall. why is this important to your argument based on all i saidyurimon
    • i already told you, it's not part of any argument. your argument fell flat ages ago. i'm just curious about you.scarabin
    • we all agree that old mysticisms were clumsy attempts at science, attempts to explain things. some came close to truth, others didn't.scarabin
    • we refined the process and it became science. some of the old results bear a primitive resemblance to things we have since proven. so what?scarabin
    • that is not true, maybe in the minds of hatheists it fell flat but anyone rational can understand that most people are bound by the same archetypes that driveyurimon

So, does yurimon believe he is a primate or not?

  • scarabin6

what i've been able to deduce about yuri's beliefs are as follows:

    1. he believes that our creation was not an accident (because he uses the idea that we are "accidents" as an insult against us). this implies some kind of creator.

    2. he believes he is not a primate (because he uses the fact that we consider ourselves primates as an insult against us). this implies that he either does not believe in natural selection or that he is otherwise some kind of superior being.

    3. he believes only religion can provide relevant values. (he claims our “primate atheist” values are “make-believe”) which means anything you find meaningful in your life, any values or code of conduct not given to you by spiritual elders is “self-delusional” and wrong.

    4. he is desperate to prove that religion is just as reliable a source of data as science (because of his numerous attempts to prove that science is no better than a belief system). after all, “qabalah 11-12 dimensions, quantum physics 11 dimensions”.

    • not really, im not exactly for religion. just saying people have the same vices even when they believe different things like its the deal when its mostly allyurimon
    • none of this is arguable, mate. it's all up there ^ just own your beliefs, jeez.scarabin
    • bullshit. and yes everything came out religion alot of quantum physics borrowed from old mysticismyurimon
    • there is a book i think i posted on here about history of concepts of space.. pretty good read. it shows the progression from religious thoughts. yes religionyurimon
