im fron Long Beach, all my friends and some of my family are there too...i love LB....id rather live there than LA or OC..seriously...
and LB's area code used to be 213... it didn't change to 562 til a few years ago actually it went from 213 to 310 to 562

LBC is actually a really cool place despite its rep. downtown long beach is vibrant, fun, and in full swing. plus you're in good proximity to LA and its surroundings, the south bay, and the OC, and about 1 1/2 hours from san diego (my hood). i say go for it.

You might want to consider the area around El Dorado Park... its near where the 605 and 405 meet.

I love that Cliff May area near El Dorado Park!!! But all the houses that are for sale have either been butchered or they are near the cancerous power lines.

well i just moved here from NYC. It's a bit of a culture shock. You feel like your on vaction all the time. The earthquakes have been REALLY freaky for me, but hey also 911 freaked me out in NYC. Personally, I'd rather live with natural disasters.

oh ya, you are ina pretty good area down probably around studebaker and willow?
naples is on the southern tip of long beach, down PCH (south of 2nd street) and the edge of seal beach....its actually Naples Island.

Yeah my neighborhood is close to Spring St. It's really cool you should check it out sometime. Alot of designers are buying up the homes and helping the aestitics of the neighborhhood.
