I failed again, but this time I hardly made any mistakes. The only thing I did was forgetting to stop before turning right on a red light. I was just following the car in front of me and other cars weren't around, but the tester said that I still had to stop, it doesn't matter if other cars aren't around.
Anyway, I think it's an automatic fail if you make that mistake and that's the reason why I failed. This time I got a guy and he was a lot nicer. Said I was a great driver but he had to fail me for that mistake.
Also, since it was summer we drove around for almost twice the normal amount of time.
I'll be okay, as long as I pass next time. Otherwise I'll seem like a big failture. My mom is already upset. This year has been quite unlucky for me. It just sucks that I have to wait another month (since the tests are all booked).

just dust it off and you'll get it next time

You actually go out on the street for your test?
Here they just put you in some little wonderland about the size of a playground, ask you to park, reverse, and stop at a stop sign. It takes like five minutes, after, of course, you've sat and rotted in the DMV for five hours.

moural - no wonder you have the 'best' drivers in the world then

i think new jersey beats everyone out for bad drivers. sorry.

Thankfully we don't have horrible drivers. Most people fail at least once (I know because everyone in line in front of me had to pay money, and you only pay money again if you failed the first time).

Go take your test in Lindsay, The town is so quiet and small it's almost imposible to fail.
They have 1 don't turn right on a red, and 1 one way street.
And it's probably only like a couple hours from ottawa.

tip - if it's a guy next time. just before you put the car in drive, reach over and give a little squeeze on the leg and say "you're in good hands."
- brandelec0

(Jul 6 05, 08:42)i disagree. they tend be way more cautious then men in general. women are slower and more irritating then male drivers. but young men, say men under 25? they're fucking idiots on the road.

eh Jaline, this may sound dumb, but you're failing the test for your own safety yeah. as a motorbike rider, you're also failing for my safety. even though i'm in toronto you knowwhatimean. oui?

Should come to the Etobicoke test facility, my test was about 5 minutes long, went around the block, did a 3 pt turn, and backed into the parking space at the end .

I agree that women are generally a lot more cautious and slow, but that doesn't mean they're horrible drivers. But I do prefer driving with my dad if I want to go somewhere quickly or if I don't want to be nagged for every little thing I do while on the road.
Just one little mistake is what got me....arrrggghhh...
