this seems to work....
just play them the entire way through in media player
then select file, save media as and it saves to h/drive in about a minute
but this is only after u have listened to the entire set

there is a way around it, basically, the site is checking you UserAgent when you download, cos it works fine in iTune/WinAmp.
If you use firefox, get an Extension called User Agent Swithcer and just add a user agent called iTunes, Select it and try doing the url in the m3u again, it works.

don't think bandwidth's such an issue if he's allowing people to stream over and over instead of downloading once, it's more to do with copyrights init!

dunno. they guy from freshly mixed does the same. he emailed the bbc and enquired if it was legit. they said they didnt care. And he charges for it

Sorted... got the User Agent Switcher to work so now when I click the link I get the mp3 playing in the QuickTime control bar in a new window.
Stupid question – how can I get it actually downloading as an mp3 and not playing in the browser?!

i know this is asking alot, but is there any way i can get a complete (i mean total) idiots guide to downloading these onto a mac?
Theres an oakenfold perfecto party mix that was recorded in Es Paradise in 1995 - i was there and it would be kinda cool to have a copy. I know i can wire tap it if need be but downloadin would be better.
