I gotta disagree with you guys about Kanye West. He actually made a remix of Diamonds that was all about Sierra Leone and all the issues going on there. He's also cut several interviews talking about conflict diamonds, and he's been very open and honest about his own buying habits when it comes to diamonds. You guys shouldn't be so quick to jump down a guy's throat, especially a guy who is a positive force in the fight.

tenpointtwo, right on. the mixes are genuine in my opinion. just like the flow of design trends his has become popular because he adds elementus popular. so, I give him props, I don't drop my pants, I'll just agree that diamonds for people isn't a fair trade and that its important to have these discussions, w/o him I wouldn't know what you were saying...Kanye who? diamonds for everyone!

gotta give Kanye some props, for at the very least a few brilliant tracks that he produced himself from the ground up, he has all round skills and a good ear.
of any rapper in the game at the moment hes not affraid to rap about shit no-on else will even touch, and if 'being real' is what its about, then i think he is about as strait up as they get
