Ronal trust me. I am far more metal than you. Cannibal corpse are also rans. I mean c'mon they're from Buffalo new york..I can't think of a less metal city than buffalo...sad, really

dude buffalo is metal as fuck, what about Baphomet? they were one of, if not THE original slam-style/NYDM bands... but yeah cannibal have been weak since like 93. any city as crappy and depressing as buffalo will have tons of good metal bands, why do you cleveland had so many great death metal bands inthe 90s?

cannibal corpse posers? yeah fucking right dude. saw ema few years back. dude plays bass with his fingers. sick ass typewriter choppy riffs, tight as fuck. heavy as shit.
there are really only 2 metal/hc bands i care about right now : converge and cursed. they are pretty much the only ones that can do it right. other than that id just rather listen to straight up metal or straight thrashy hc, not some shitty mix of the 2.
above all though, all i can listen to these days is Jesu (ex-godflesh). amazing shit.

actually you should check out these unsigned talents if you want it fresh. subdue comes from the hc-scene but ended up listening to entombed, at the gates and speedy swedish death/trash.
(and you get a shitload of underground creds for free)

Hahaha...that's why I stopped playing in death metal bands - great music but zero sense of humor among most of the aficianados - like most jazz heads...
I love Cannibal corpse and the like and I'm well aware of Buffalo's role in metal - You can go back to the early 80's when Billy Sheehan used to rock with Talas for chrisakes...sure pre-death era, but buffalo always rocked...
God...death metal guys are so busy looking all morbid all the time the only thing they think is funny is like satan jokes...
