dude buffalo is metal as fuck, what about Baphomet? they were one of, if not THE original slam-style/NYDM bands... but yeah cannibal have been weak since like 93. any city as crappy and depressing as buffalo will have tons of good metal bands, why do you cleveland had so many great death metal bands inthe 90s?
check out http://www.disconformity.jp for the best slam metal band out there in my opinion (well besides suffocation of course)
