I don't really make purchasing decisions based on 'Brand'.
I purchase individual items, not brands.
Not because I'm anti-corporate or anti-brand etc. etc. but because I understand/recognize the artificial and temporary nature of brand image.

Why does everyone assume that disapproving of Nike is the same as embracing other companies?
I disagree with essentially all clothing manufactoring practices. It just happens that Nike is the target in this thread because of a particular ad campaign that they are running.
You can't fault people for buying Nike when there virtually no affordable options out there. But I can go with the shoe that doesn't attempt to brand itself in the most blatantly hypocritcal manners.
