The original copyright owner would only have to use google cache and a screenshot to prove your "use" and I use the term loosely, of their copyrighted material.
You should be quite concerned as they also have recourse with your ISP or even your local library or relatives computer whatever physical resource you used to violate someone's copyright could make that resource liable as well..

As an example ..my title written in french as a mockery of the Duchamp paintng of the title " Ceci n'est pas une pipe" with "This is not a joke". which becomes a pun since "englais" is the french word for joke but close to "anglais" (the french word for english ) this double meaning adds some depth to my reinterpretation and both mimics and mocks the original. This is how to go about ''using " your very talented forebearers for your own creative uses in the present. Not a simple cut and paste and retouch. Be clever.
