I posted a waving finger in the comments section.
Rips suck but bad rips just hurt us all.

I wrote under the title :

    'Ceci n'est pas un englais'

You should take the "use" of others material and the accusation of theft very seriously. It is not to be mocked or ignored.
You may want to read the Digital Millennium Copyright Act

"Under copyright rules, if someone copies, distributes or displays a copyrighted work publicly without authority of the copyright owner or its agent, then a violation of law has occurred. Even innocent infringements are subject to penalties. In addition to injunctive relief, a copyright owner prevailing in an infringement action may be entitled to receive actual damages and profits of the infringer, or statutory damages ($500-$20,000 per work infringed; up to $100,000 per work in cases of willful infringement), plus attorneys fees."

The original copyright owner would only have to use google cache and a screenshot to prove your "use" and I use the term loosely, of their copyrighted material.

You should be quite concerned as they also have recourse with your ISP or even your local library or relatives computer whatever physical resource you used to violate someone's copyright could make that resource liable as well..

"Copyright law also holds that helping someone else to violate copyright rights is an infringement, so-called "vicarious" or "contributory" infringement. Thus, when certain commercial OSPs were accused of violating copyright law, some courts held them liable for copyright infringement. The fact that an institution is "not for profit" does not eliminate exposure to the copyright infringement claim."

You could also read through the implications of the DMCA and the implications of the Online Copyright Infringement Liability Limitation Congress incorporated into the DMCA at http://www.arl.org/

As an example ..my title written in french as a mockery of the Duchamp paintng of the title " Ceci n'est pas une pipe" with "This is not a joke". which becomes a pun since "englais" is the french word for joke but close to "anglais" (the french word for english ) this double meaning adds some depth to my reinterpretation and both mimics and mocks the original. This is how to go about ''using " your very talented forebearers for your own creative uses in the present. Not a simple cut and paste and retouch. Be clever.
