you know food critics aren't chefs, but they judge these poor bastards and ruin their careers. I mean what do you need to be a food critic besides a stomach for free food and dining at fantastic restaurants?

yes, but at least food critics have some sort of credibility. not sure if there is any credibility in this criticism.

If Id listen to my critic side, i would say the same thing that coco said. I understand what he/she means. I think coco didnt mean to offend people and I dont really see what the big deal is.
On the other side, if I listen to the "design community help each other out" side, then I would avoid starting threads like this.
And as for the "grids suck" or whatever comment. I think you must understand and acknowledge the basics in order to break the grid.

i read about 5-6 posts and thats all i can waste my time on here. seems like mostly boring pseudo-type snobbery without a whole lot backing it up besides some half baked theories on letter spacing/sizing that for the most part seem pretty uneducated as evidenced by the disregarding entire theories or organization of text without any sort of context. boring......
anyways, how about the lovely weather in nyc today? it was fuckin great out.
