I'm trying to make the content below the news header 2 columns, so that the news in on the left column and the right will contain a vertical strip of logos. I can't figure out for the life of me how to get it to work. Any suggestions?

Um yeah, if you notice, that code doesn't relate to having a header above the two columns. Thanks though.

jesus - do you want me to wipe your ass for you after you shit?
hack this one:

Thanks, the second one was exactly what I was lookin for. And thanks for being such a courteous little helper.

You might have decent success with the bluerobot css pages you can copy and modify. I've been doing that myself and have a header with two columns below. It's just trial and error, repeat, trial and error, and again. The header and the columns below should be contained in some kind of container div that keeps them centered.
I think I have the columns below the header positioned absolutely, but they center because of the container box.--
Oh, and tell that band that MTV called, they want their uniform back.

Ha, not to rip on them...
but my band actually has a rule that none of us can be on stage in another band's t-shirt, or have photos taken in them. You just can't give up your influences that easily, you know? But a band like the one that's posted, would it be hard to guess they're into some kind of the metal?

To each thier own. They are a metal/hardcore band. And its not neccesarily about influences but who your friends with. Hardcore bands like to support each other.
- jevad0
"metal/hardcore band"
those two genres should never have crossed paths...
- snizl0
ummm why?
- mg330
Hardcore bands surround my band's practice space and they suck and are miserable, screaming clones that can't get shows at good venues in town.
Thus, I can understand why they support each other...they're all they have. To each their own though. :)
(Just causing a stir, I'm falling asleep and quite tired...
Good luck with the CSS. There's lots of good links here, just make sure you use the search drop down box to search all posts. I learned a ton of stuff through people's help here, so hope you find the same.)

name me some metalcore bands that don't suck...go on....
- mg330
We're creating a tangent here, but oh well. jevad did you watch the Road to Ozzfest show on MTV?
My constant though, me being a musician or otherwise, was something like this:
"Do you bands not realize that nothing about you is unique, new, exciting or different than anyone doing the same exact thing as you?"
- jevad0
Bansd like Bane and Stretch Armstrong shit down the throats of bands like the ones on that road to ozzfest show
bunch of talentless hacks

mg33: The hardcore bands that surround your paractice space must suck then. There are a lot of good hardcore bands here in Sacramento and SF.
Jevad: I'm not super into metalcore or hardcore so I wouldn't know. If your interested in a good hardcore band check out: http://www.deathwishinc.com/nde/…
I'm somewhat biased as it is my bro's band.

Would love to continue this but I need to get to bed before the stink of my feet makes me gag. I need to get these things looked at. My GF will kill me if she knew I'm about to get in bed with her without rinsing these feet in bleech.
Night night, see you at 7am!

holy shit
nice!

Jevad is English! For them, listening to stuff like that is like an American listening to opera and not blowing their brains out.
