almost all feature film studios rely on maya/mtor and houdini.

hey, superbaka, what are your thoughts on blender as a professional 3d man. I know Yafray is no Mental Ray, but as far as the interface and modelling goes, i think it stands pretty good ground.

the interface looks interesting. but what are you going to do with your 3d skills? animation? photorealism? if you dont want to get into the industry nor make photoreal images, anything will do.
