HE demanded an apology, this was when the beloved 2A was just the one person.
Honestly, I did rip on the whole thing, this was back in 2001 probably.
I still think the site missed it's mark entirely. Yah, the client wanted it, but there should be a point where a designer steps up and can focus on the target audience and demographic and see what does not compute.
It's the same reason that all those confusing flash navs. a few years back had a place only on designer's portfolio sites. Who cares? 9 times out of 10 if you're doing work it's for the average joe viewership and most of them would never figure out something confusing.At the time I was very active as a moderator in the Design and Flash 5 forums on FK so anything that came along I was saying something about. Bottom line, cool site, just don't know how a person with eye problems could have understood it.

I had it done a few years ago. Outcome was unbelievable next day driving, to get sunglasses. But was scary to see them pump out people in and out so quick. went to dr. della russo

I met a lasik surgen once who called it 'flap and zap'. He was bored silly with the job. Toitally automated.

With astigmatism it is possible to get LASIK. But depends on teh severity

what about what bulletfactory was talking about, the Corneal Refractive Therapy? Does anyone know?

i got lasik and the astigmatism correction. was out and about 8 hours later. saw halos around light sources at night for about a month but dont regret a thing....
