HE demanded an apology, this was when the beloved 2A was just the one person.
Honestly, I did rip on the whole thing, this was back in 2001 probably.
I still think the site missed it's mark entirely. Yah, the client wanted it, but there should be a point where a designer steps up and can focus on the target audience and demographic and see what does not compute.
It's the same reason that all those confusing flash navs. a few years back had a place only on designer's portfolio sites. Who cares? 9 times out of 10 if you're doing work it's for the average joe viewership and most of them would never figure out something confusing.At the time I was very active as a moderator in the Design and Flash 5 forums on FK so anything that came along I was saying something about. Bottom line, cool site, just don't know how a person with eye problems could have understood it.
