right now I'm working for the government doing boring work but for about 40k, about 20$/hour (CDN$). however I'm only here for 3 months because in September I'm moving to montreal to study.
real boring work. i only do flash here though and i miss doing print.
i just got called from this design communication firms and they want to interview me next week.
NOW. I need money bad for school for this Septembre. Do I stay here at the RCMP for the money. Or do I try out this other place to see if they can match the pay (very small design firm, doubt they could) but have the possibility of doing fun, creative print.
Please help

see if they can match the pay. or better yet, convince them to match it or better it. get your sales on!

i say small design firm
cause experience you can not buy

find out what you will be doing at the small shop. it just might be worth it

it sucks more to work a shit job than to get a lower wage. money is just money.

so your focus is getting money for school ... #1 .. correct?
i'd stay with the job and ask the design firm if you can do freelance as well so you can make more dough
if they offer this
or vice versa

thanks again for the advice guys!

--------------------------------...that's right. right now I'm broke. I'm going to school again for three more years and moving to a new city. So I'll be having a lot of expenses.
But I think I'll go over there anyways. take the interivew. see if they can match. if not, I'll probebly leave a reference to someone else. I never leave a job without a reference to someone else who could replace my position. I know its a competitive industry, but I try to help out as many people as I can.
