Um, clue the fuck up, this is how you start out in ANY industry. Work for little or nothing in order to get experience. Advertsing and Design people that try to idealize and romanticize their profession are drinking the koolaid.
It's one thing to make bullshit, it's another to believe it. When you believe it, like the AIGA, then you're worse than someone who's trying to pay their dues and get a foot in the door. You're a cretin, and you're everything that's wrong with this industry.
