I always love a hot bath. My trick is that when the tub is filled up with crazy hot water, like you almost can't stand it - you pull the plug and turn on the water as cold as possible. When the tub is filled with as much cold water as you can stand, you start all over again.
But I'm into showering aswell. This one is sweet:

i take a hot bath once or twice a week. bottle of beer and a good cd. it's just a good way to end the day.
and when i say hot i mean hot. as in it takes 10 minutes to get in. i'm probably sterile because of it.

Truthfully, first I shower if I am going to do it. I don't enjoy sitting in my own filthy stewing water.

ok, wellmy favorite way to start the day would be a cold shower with a hot cup of coffee with baileys and whiskey. haha

Shower before bath is a good idea, but it sorta takes the edge of it when your coming home from a day in freezing rain and all you want to do is jump in the bath. Also, my bathroom isn't big enough to have room for both a shower and tub, so you can't run a bath at the same time you're showering.
