Got some good links to interviews with George? Just saw Revenge of the Sith, and it was beautiful. The way Darth Vader struggled, and the tragedy of him falling to the Dark side. Just want to know more about his thoughts, and if this story line was conceived way back when Star Wars started back in the 70's. The whole saga was 30 years in the making.

I kinda saw the first episode, and didn't see the second one. Jar Jar binks made me want to puke, but I really liked the last one because of the whole storyline being told.

Revenge of the Sith had 15 excellent minutes. The rest was "mneh" or cringe-worthy.

Do not read below if you haven't seen the movie yet:
George Lucas is a shy person, but his imagination is classic. The drama of Anakin falling to the dark side, the failure of Yoda and why he exiled himself into the swamps, the irony of Vader killing that princess girl (I forget her name), the forces of good and evil, the fate and destiny of each characters, and the play of time of starting with episde 4, 5, 6 back in the 70's and how it ends with episode 3 with Darth Vader and the Dark Side!

i had a revelation this weekend that yeah, yeah, we all shit on these most recent three episodes because you know, they're so corny and kid-oriented and commercial and all.
but if you put it into context that we were like, five when the first one came out, it changes your perspective a bit. i mean, jar jar still sux, but whatever, i liked the ewoks back then and find them kinda silly now.
spaceships only go so far, you know?

Yeah, I wasn't pleased with Obie or Padmie's acting as it wasn't convincing enough. I thought Anakin was pretty good.

I just saw The Phantom Menace and quit but I hate the art direction. All the new aliens look stupid compared to the early ones. The first Cantina, those aliens are the best. Their bellys don't quiver like jelly and not every hair on their body is in prsitine focus and undulating in a sine wave.

perfect..just saw this movie tonight for the first time and was hoping i'd find a thread here about it..
i loved it..(spoilers warning)
sure there were flaws...sure there were moments of bad acting..but thats pretty much par for the course for this whole series...it's easy to pic at those things..but over all, i thought it was a pretty fantastic finale.
getting to see Alderan at the end, and how beautiful it was suddenly brings it more meaning when you see the deathstar blast it to smithereens in 'a new hope. as does the twin sunsets on tatooine...seeing uncle owen and aunt beru or whatever standing there just like luke in the 1st movie...i dunno..it all sorta came together for me...
brought the whole series to a nice close...
now i think i'll finish up a few things workwise, and put on my dvd of 'a new hope' and bliss out for a bit..see if i see shades of ewan in alec guiness (or vise-versa..)

exto cap it off..i thought ewan was excellent, hayden was pretty ok (and pretty awesome when he was going around just slaughtering folks) and natalie portman was cute as hell..and semi convincing..more or less...
ewan was definitely great tho...
i totally thought he was chanelling alec in this movie...he nailed it from what i could see...
