Which is better and why?

Boston is definitely more expensive. We've got seasons. You can still walk around here and get everything you could possibly think of. Our traffic is probably crazier, but it's not really the car culture up here as it is in other cities. Vibrant cultural scene. More history. Skiing and beaches are very close together.
Atlanta is hot as fuck.
And the red sox are more intesting than the braves.

Well let's see, Atlanta was burned by the North, Boston never was.
Atlanta is hot as hell in the summer, Beantown not as quite.
Atlanta has had more serial killers, Boston not quiet as many.
hehhe ;)

Interesting...
Good feedback.. Keep it coming.. How much more $ is it? What's a good place to live that's reasonable?

I spent a lot of time in Boston and RI.. I love the north.. I never even snows here in Atlatna....

erok, you're all over man, NYC, Boston, DC, Atlanta damn

If you go to Boston you'll have to deal with that accent up there, like fingernails on a chalkboard. Reason enough to stay in Atlanta.

erok , I thought you were living in NY now. You moving again?
- erokcom0
This has nothing to do with moving.. I was simply curious.. I watched something on TV about the big dig and it had me remembering Boston..

hmmm...depends on if you like the idea of unbearable winters or unbearable summers (i love the heat so ATL is perfect for me).
- erokcom0
driftlab! What's up my friend?
- skt0
Boston. I have no idea why. Probably is though.
- emmaopeel0
boston! 1. because you are in a lovely city 2. because nyc is close by 3. because winter snow sports are the best 4. because beaches are also close by 5. because the blue laws are finally being repealed 6. because people really are kind, witty, and smart in boston even if they sometimes seem cold...
however, we have had ten straight days of cold rain. I don't think that helps my argument...

our winters make you appreciate summer.
as for affordable areas to live in...really depends on how much $$$ you pull in. Jamaica Plain is nice, but gentrification is moving full steam ahead. Somerville, parts of Cambridge, parts of Brighton, Hyde Park, East Boston....
or you could live in Allston Rock City if you like drunk frat boys accosting you after midnight. Also, the snowstorm parking wars are a true american experience...
