That's a fecking great idea. I have a flat in Gothenburg that I don't really want to give up, a dead nice pad.
However, when one says "swap", that means that the person I'd swap with would need to find a job here in Sweden b4 swapping with me... unless they were freelancers.

i don't think the UK country side is anything close to the Americas.
Over there you have a few cows and nobody to bother you, in the US country people are conservative christian-right, who are members of National Rifle Association and in the big cities is where you find the hippies/activists.
i've lived in both places (Austin-SF-NYC), and i can tell you I prefer the city. And really, i just don't like country music all that much, it's so whiney....

I kind of like Glasgow, I don't know why - my experiences there have been 90% shite. Chased out of Sellick Park by marauding Sellick fans mistaking us Jambos for "huns in disguise".

Aha! Yeah.. I'm kind of Scottish - but not a footie fan.
When I was a wee nipper, my granda took me down 'the street' to get a footie kit for my birthday. "Can I have that one, Granda?" I asked, pointing to the pretty green and white kit. Needless to say, the Rangers supporting Patriarch wasn't having any of it, so I went home with the dull blue one instead.
