Depends on how old you are - or at least, where you are in life.
For the moment, I'm in the former - give it another couple of years in bloody London, and I'll be ready to live in a cave on an island far, far away.

If you asked me 5 to 10 years ago, city. Now? Countryside, small coastal/beach community, etc.
Cities are getting clogged up with crap... the city is the new suburbs it seems. just not the same. culture left the building.
And in the countryside you can pick raddish and blueberries, go camping, surfing, breathe clean air, pay less for living, etc.
We need a new city! (or a way to get the old NYC back).

I wanna live in the desert. In the middle of Mojave desert. Or maybe the Gobi desert - not suer which hue of sand i prefer.
