I can't delete the temporary write to cd files because one is in use by another program... but I've closed every program, restarted my pc, turned off my pc, and still... I can't delete the temp files.
help?

you're using p2p right?

what would that have to do with my cd burner?
- JoshClancy0
but yes I am.

just a common problem with sharing folders/files to p2p and being unable to delete them cos the the file is linked to that app, only a guess.

not only that, but there is probably an open outgoing tcp connection to the share.
since the point of p2p is "sharing" someone or something is accessing the folder.
open a prompt and type *netstat -a* and see if you have any foreign connections.

trying to remove them in safe mode may help.
or not.

2 pop3 from my e-mail and then it says 2 local hosts...
I don't know anything about the local hosts

localhost is just loopback. your box in otherwords.
so no outgoing connections. unless it isn't tcp.
you can try the safe mode without networking and see if you can remove it.
otherwise, try killing the p2p services and deleting it then.
