Those A6's are nice but I had to pull the trigger on the G35 sedan and I'm not regretting it.

i like the Audi's but find them a bit overpriced in Canada. that new A3 starts at like 33k.

Acura, easily.
Ever heard the joke about loosing $8K on your VW the second you drive off the lot?
They don't hold their value well at all.

Joxy they are Dezenyo 20" wheels with Toyo Proxes 4 tires 245/35/20
The photo doesn't do them justice. They look very very slick in real life.

I guess you guys are right.. I drive a 91 Acura integra GS now with 234,000 miles on it..... Bought it in 1997 and she still runs strong...... Just getting a little old.. Little things here and there.. Window won't roll down sometimes.... Etc.......

The new A6 is a sweet looking car, but the new passat ain't bad either:
http://tinyurl.com/84kpfAnd you can get it with a drained umbrella compartment like on the Rolls Royce!

New Passat is gorgeous, indeed.

yeah the new passat is realy nice. it has a lot of options and features you won't find in the price range.
Acuras are listed as being one of the most reliable in the past 10 years but those surveys can be misleading. they list transmission problems hondas have with a button for a vanity light not working right in a saab.

Well, naturally, I am a Honda whore. Hence this nic.
Honda's are built to last. Everything is well thought out...there is no, "well, we'll fix that later." Every minute detail is accounted for. Yes, sometimes the interior may not be the smack-your-ass-best, but in 10 years, it will still look and feel great.
If you are looking to step it up a notch consider an Acura 3.2CL. 2001 Type S would be very nice. Slightly large, but it is still a 2door and can fit you and the mrs. very snuggly. It's not too large and is very sporty. Definiely a good step up from the Integra you have.
Again, consumer reports is rarely wrong. Vw's and Audi's have bad reps. You'll look great in one for now...just don't plan on keeping it forever and be patient, she'll be in the shop a lot for stupid electrical shit and other stuff failing.
Sincerely,
YFHR - Your Friendly Honda Representative

Acura.... I just got rid of my VW about 4 months ago. It was the worst car I have ever owned.
In one year, 13 times in the shop and $$$ flushed away.
Boycott VW

if you want an appliance vehicle that gets you from point a to point b and nothing more, hondas, toyotas, and hyundais are perfect cars to get.
honda/acura save all their money on using cheap interior parts so they are not as nice as european cars. but they do spend more money on their drivetrain so they usually have solid engine/transmission. just remember to change the timing belt around every 60-75k miles and change the oil at the right intervals, and you can drive them for a long time.
and as far as people having problems with vws, that's not every person. i've had two vw's and now i have an audi. i haven't had any problems with them. i also know a lot of people that own vw's on a vw forum and IRL. they don't really have a problems other than ones caused by excessive modding.

my wife was overdue for an oil change on her 2003 Jetta, and the engine died. $10,000 in damage.
I always let the oil changes slide on my Nissan without a major problem.

i know someone who owns a jetta. he takes off of work once every 3 weeks it seems to take his car to the $hop
and for the record, i've never heard any complaints about hondas.
Follow the leader, he's on a honda.
