Ok, so the US has now made it legal to buy wine right off the internet. Anyone know of good places to get wine online?

can you not buy it in a shop?

Online ordering is only really good if you know that you already like it and want to get a cheaper case price.

my lady and i stayed up until 2 in the morning and drank 2 bottles of cab last night.
we thought we were rock stars... today it turns out we're not as young as we used to be.

The law is a little more complicated than that, but basically if a state doesn't let out of state wineries sell to people in their state via mail/net then they can't sell any wine via the mail/net. So its up to the state to decide whether wine will be shipped period.

you Americans get a lot of smack.. but i do have to admit you are so damn technologically advanced!!
shiit, being able to download wine off the internets, i'd be drunk in no time!

not to diss Virginia wines but they can not compete with Oregon!

i can recommend these three wineries:

btw, the middle link (Swedenburg) is one of reasons this happened. they were part of the original push. and they are very nice, too.
i drove down to buy a case of wine for my wife's birthday (about a 3-1/2 hour drive from where i live). everything is fine and i'm ready to pay for it and they don't accept credit cards! she says, "when you get home, mail me the check."
outrageous. still makes me smile to think someone would trust a stranger like that. a stranger with too many tattoos and in dire need of a haircut (at the time) to boot! crazy.

and now i won't have to drive to oregon to see if you're telling the truth!
those nc wines aren't fermented tobacco leaves, are they?

NC wins the design award but Oregon Pinots are tits!

If you have the means, you could try an online "wine of the month" club. Most places start at 2 bottles per month. It can be pricey though. Personally, I prefer Trader Joes and Costco. Decent selection without busting the wallet.
