yeah they IBM PPC's but not same arch as G5 (no altevec etc., reguardless at around 10.5 ghz they are superfast and can preform as a computer beyond well.
If someone gets Linux running on it (which they will), networking a few of these could create a very powerfull cluster, server, or renderfarm. Much much more powerful than Mac Mini' s.

i hooked up my NES and SNES two months ago. Played all the classics like Ninja Turtles, balloon fight, mario kart, etc.

Super Famicom was the first truly great game system, in terms of console/gamepad design and games.
I agree, they should make some of the newer games with the gameplay of oldergames in mind.
But then with MAME and the countless other emu's out there, u could have a library of 1,000's on ur computer.
IMO, best console would be a gutted Super Famicom with a PC inside holding every 2600, 7800, Jaguar (ok maybe not Jaguar), Vetrex, Coleco Vision, Intellivision, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, GB, GBA, TG16, Sega Genisis/Mastersystem, C64, and Arcade Cabinet from 1978-present.
