I thought the Scion marketing was a joke....this is worse. Atleast this thing looks sweet.
Not too impressed with the game graphics they've been showcasing though...just rendered movies? I want some in-game demos!

The specs on it look too crazy...
3 PPC cores at 3.5 ghz each (10.5 ghz combined) 500mhz Videocard, the thing sounds more powerful than most modern computers.

i have a buddy who worked at Astro Studios which designed the xbox, and i'm glade he quit, because it is god damn ugly and i would have to kill him if hewould have drawen the lines for it

These consoles will start to mess with computer sales if they get any more advanced.
Once they get Linux onto this thing it will be a better purchase than alot of the stuff out there at a price that will most likely be sub $400.

Not sure about you guys, but personally, I got bored with games about 2 years ago (besides SF Anniversary edition).
I work hard during the day, why would I want to think during a game?
Take Shadow of Rome. Loved the first level, had fun killing things...then the side game started with stealth and all those puzzels...I quit. So frustrating.

back in the days there was a lack of graphic so they had to think hard to make the game worth buying.
now the piss out shitty games every two hours with reallife graphic but lacking on, or no gameplay at all..

got Mike Tyson's Punch Out off ebay for a few bucks last month about the same time as i got NFSU2, got bored of that within the first 3 hours, Punch out is still in the NES being played weekly ..

i dont really know what im talken about- but the g5-esque chips in the new xbox are stripped down versions just for gaming. so shit hot fast for that- but pretty slow in terms of being a normal computer.
