have fun, you don't really need to plan anything going to Paris, you'll have so much to do there.

there's this hotel real close to the Sacre-Coeur (sp?), it's very old and messy but legendary. At the time i stayed there (about 7 years ago) and paid about 15 euros per night and there was always a room available. it's messy and crappy service but the atmosphere there was stunning. As if nothing changed in a century. It's also walking distance from Gare du Nord, where i arrived with TGV/Thalys..

Brilliant coffee/jazz bar called "Les Marchewis de Planete" you ought to check out @ 73, rue de la Roquette 11e (Métro Voltaire ou Bastille) - Good music, good wine, good people and relaxed interiors.
